Pupil Premium 2016 - 17

Last year in the KS2 SATs the children in receipt of PP achieved in-line with their peers and with all children nationally. The 2014-15 cohort made such progress and achievment that the school was congratulated by Mrs Sue Clarke (now retired) Head of Education and Learning for Devon LA.

2016-17

Our allocation for this academic year is £56,320.

Some of the children in receipt of PP at Caen have a (or a number) of barrier(s) to educational achievement. These include: lack of space and dedicated time for homework at home, lack of reading at home, needing to catch up in both English and maths, ability to self-regulate and be ready for learning throughout the day.

The school measures the impact of the interventions through both national summative data and internal moderation and assessment which is ongoing throughout the year.

The school contiunally reviews the porgress of this cohort of children and also does so annually to check that all children in the group are making excellent progress.

Please download our PP report below for 2015-16 and allocation for 2016-17.
